What you'll do.
The Business Analyst (BA) is in charge of overall integration projects for customers, from the initial analysis, through all CINTO project steps to hypercare. They manage the scope and quality, and make sure the solution is delivered by the required date.

Technical requirements
- Knowledge of at least one EDI standard: UN/EDIFACT or ANSI X12
- Basic knowledge of communication protocols used in EDI such as FTP, SFTP and AS2
- Experience in multicultural, self-organised teams
- Basic knowledge of XML, XPath and SQL
- Experience in transport or warehousing EDI transactions and life cycle is an added advantage
- Functional working knowledge of TMS / WMS / OMS systems is an added advantage
- Communicative and able to think analytically
Requirements analysis and specification
- Assist in the pre-sales phase as needed
- Gather customer and business requirements and needs
- Analyse the requirements to design a suitable solution
- Consult on non-standard requirements with the developer
- Create the map specification (using GEFEG.fx)
- Follow standard guidelines and practices, and document the work in the agreed format
- Coordinate with other IT teams where required (CW1 trigger setup, ESB/eDC development)
Development, quality and testing
- Manage changes in scope, and re-estimate and re-plan work if needed
- Support the developer in communication with the business requestor
- Carry out product tests to make sure the solution works as designed
- Oversee the UAT process
- Coordinate the deployment into production
Hypercare
- Help understand, or provide guidance on, the hypercare process
- Support troubleshooting when requested by EDI Support (Silver Hypercare); take ownership of troubleshooting (Platinum Hypercare)
General and time
- Track project progress against planned dates
- Maintain timely, efficient and proactive stakeholder communication on daily tasks and projects
Priority and escalations
- Follow the priority set by Global BIM
- Escalate issues and priority conflicts to the Team Lead and CINTO
